The Administration system and Team

All Schemes are administered by our Scheme Administrator company, Empowered Pensions Ltd on the Omni SSAS administration platform (https://www.omniphi.net) with isolated mirror servers and isolated banking functions. Our Schemes are serviced by an experienced team of on-site staff at Felcourt Farm, Felcourt, East Grinstead RH19 2LQ, with all modern amenities.

Banking functions provided by Metro Bank, NatWest and Cater Allen Private Bank.

The company has a robust disaster recovery plan and reciprocal disaster administration agreement with appropriate 3rd party Scheme Administrators.

Our Philosphy

Empowered Trustees Ltd philosophy reflects the values of the Empowered Group in that the safe creation of wealth, in this case pension wealth, can best be obtained on a pathway of education.
During the first 12 months of our service we aim to take a novice Trustee from their initial pensions knowledge through the Trustee Toolkit (TPR training program) and qualify their knowledge of pensions administration.

During this period the Trustees will be given the opportunity to undertake training modules designed to verify how particular investments interact with the pension environment and taxation. The objective is to deliver Trustees qualified to operate a pension scheme within the confines of the HMRC Pensions Tax Manual.

Empowered Trustees clients

Empowered Trustees will act for clients that have been offered FCA regulated advice from an Independent Financial Advisor.

Where it is deemed suitable and appropriate for High Net Worth and/or Sophisticated investor owner operators of Limited liability companies Empowered Trustees will help establish a SSAS with all members as Trustees. Empowered Trustees will only do so if the Company and Member Trustees agree to the Terms of business and Scheme Administration Agreement.

The Sponsoring Employer must be a solvent, actively trading business and can demonstrate experience in its field.

What Empowered Trustees will not do

As Corporate Trustee Empowered Trustees are very aware of our responsibilities to prevent unauthorised payments and will take an active role in preventing “pension liberation”.
Empowered Trustees will not:

Allow access to pension fund benefits other than as prescribed by Legislation

Facilitate investments that have Pension Liberation Fraud hall marks

Facilitate overseas investments

Facilitate any investment brokered or introduced by an Adviser not regulated by the FCA

Accept any form of inducement from any investment provider, agent or intermediary
